A little something I don't normally do, but I am going to get some good plays for the remaining games of the NHL. A good friend (Terry, in the most below) mentioned an excellent betting strategy for betting the last games of NHL regular season. As this is a free and educational blog I will share this knowledge (credit to TodaysAction):

Something to think about between tonight and the end of the
regular season, hit/play-on teams trying to secure and/or better
their seeding for at least three times your normal unit. For
if you like DET to win tonight and your normal unit is $10, make
this game for $30. If they lose, play them next time for $40 and
forth until you get your win. The only thing that will prevent you
from cashing on them is if they drop each and every remaining
game - it could happen, but most likely not going to. If the played
on team, DET in this example, wins you can either be done or opt
to go again for your normal rate, $10 this example, and once you
a win, then STOP. These are some of the unlisted plays for the
remainder of the season. If you plan on going for the second win
be certain you really know your play-on team especially as the
games decrease. Generally speaking, if I haven't gotten the first
by the third game, I skip the second one. Enjoy the free money.

So many things well said! You are indeed a legend here now, and you are recognized by more than just the new guys. It didn't take 10,000 posts for the ones who know you a bit better to realize this. You have been a model for me through some good and bad times, and it is hard for me to see who else has been as consistent and grounded as you are, and as I know you will remain. Yes, you are right; many people are after you and others with solid track records for spoon feeding I can see that. It is rough for me to see people learning the hard way as they say especially if they are here to make up for their job lost in a bad economy. It is good that you have made it clear that a bettor here in your thread should do 1 of two things: DO NOT cherrypick plays; play all or none OR learn here; make your own system and bets.
I got an email from a new guy once saying something along the lines of if you are so good then why did I lose my whole bankroll on your junk. At the same time I have gotten plenty of thank yous. It has become hard for me to deal with that; so now I have to think about disclaimers, and I am trying to go the more educational route when I say anything here. You deal with all of that day in and day out; so, respect my friend. I have learned from you, this thread, and the whole game that what you give you will get back so I am fine with sharing what I have learned.
Ladies and gents here is to Mr. TodaysAction. One of the finest gentlemen you will know, a family man, and a true scholar. Terry, your services and insights have proven to be invaluable, and you have my respect.

Starting to think about MLB 2010
Hello guys,
I hope that you guys are cash positive. I made a promise to do my best to product more winners than losers, and so far we are successful, and with discipline will remain so. There is nothing wrong with taking a break to prepare for my better seasons which is what I am doing. It should be worth it to prepare for MLB. FYI if you guys are here looking for NBA picks you're probably at the wrong place. NBA is not my game although if you ask the question therber2@gmail.com I am more than happy to answer.
I have a few strategies, but I am going to hold off on really unleashing them for 2-3 more seasons with NBA. I know. It sounds like a long time to wait, but just have patience, and don't worry; I will have some MLB for you soon enough. In the meantime, I seem to have found a good little system with NCAA Basketball so I will post what I think are the best plays when they pop up.
I appreciate all of the support in keeping the site going, as always donations are accepted. I also have been loving the feedback that you guys give me. It is always taken into account.
